Simon Murray Group (“SMG”) launched a new fixed income business SMC Capital Advisors in 2013. The company is the manager of SMC China Onshore Bond Fund and SMC China Offshore Bond Fund. These bond funds seek capital appreciation by investing in either domestically or overseas listed bonds issued by Chinese companies.
The funds are managed by Chinese fixed income professionals who were decision makers in global financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. The investment team adopts adiversified strategy, combining top-down macro view with bottom-up selection process through fundamental research.
